There’s more to training than knowing your subject, trainers need to know how to train, and training designers need to know how to design training that meets your participants' needs.
Effective training delivery is a unique skill with particular techniques and methods.

Delivering effective training programmes is an investment in your organisation and your people.

By the way, Training and Education are very different.

If you think that delivering training is based on what you experienced as a student at school or unversity, think again. There are at least a dozen major differences between education, and training, despite sharing many common tools, techniques, and methods.

An early step in our training trainers is to understand this difference because it affects both the design of a training event, and the delivery of a training session.

Our training has been delivered to a wide variety of subject matter experts. A few of these are:
  • An international manufacturing company - including shop-floor based training,
  • Local authority staff who deliver training to their peers.
  • Technical staff (including finance, dog handlers, medical researches, and laboratory managers).
  • Leisure trainers - who deliver non-qualifactory training.
  • a public sector organisation who need to deliver training to their peers, and to their clients (often classified as 'shy, vulnerable, suspicious')
  • One-to-one training as part of a coaching programme.
